Santosh Kawade

I am senior researcher at BT Research Labs, based near Ipswich, the coastal county town of Suffolk in south-east England. Some of my research interests are to:

  • understand interference and fundamental limits of dense wireless networks

  • understand potential threats and opportunities from cognitive radio/dynamic spectrum access

  • help formulate wireless strategy and influence related regulatory policies

  • radio-wave propagation and physical layer modelling

Education

I received my first degree in Computer Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Pune, India and MSc in Telecom Engineering from University College London. I am currently studying a part time doctorate at University College London on co-operative wireless networking using cognitive radios and dynamic spectrum access concepts.
